This certification designates that R. Trace Blackmore has successfully completed the AWT certification process. Within the state of Georgia, only three other water specialists have received the acclaimed certification. Under the stringent process to gain certification, a specialist is put to the test to ensure that he or she is as knowledgeable as possible in treating any system, anywhere. In addition, all CWT’s must undergo a minimum amount of continuing education every year to keep their designation. This ensures CWT’s are always “on top” of the latest information and technologies in the water treatment industry.

When you hire a water treatment representative, you want to know you have chosen only the best.

You want to be sure that your representative knows the industry and is capable of handling the many conditions that may affect water quality in your systems and equipment. Furthermore, you need someone in whom you can trust and have the utmost confidence to prescribe and handle the most effective water treatment applications for your systems.

Responding to these needs, the Association of Water Technologies (AWT) created the highest standard in the industry, the Certified Water Technologist (CWT).

WORK YOU CAN TRUST

What does it mean to be a CWT? Simply put, CWT is a Standard of Excellence. An individual with this status has personally committed themselves to Excellence in the Water Treatment Industry: Expert, up-to-date knowledge.

Someone with the CWT designation has been employed as a water treatment professional for a minimum of five years. This lets you know that a CWT has an established level of experience in the applications of water treatment knowledge and programs in the industry. In addition, the extensive CWT application process requires that each candidate passes a thorough peer review and obtains professional references from colleagues and clients.

Commitment to Ethics

Every CWT has signed a 13-part Declaration of Ethics, agreeing that the principles of honesty, integrity, commitment to conservation of resources, and excellence will govern every business relationship they forge. This Declaration is a serious matter to AWT, resulting in disciplinary action, including revocation of one's certification status, if found in violation.

HIRE ONLY THE BEST

Don't take a chance with your water treatment needs. Demand the Best. Choose a "pre-screened" professional that has been measured against the Highest Standards in the industry. Get a Certified Water Technologist to administer your water treatment program. You will be hiring the best the water treatment industry has to offer -- a CWT -- knowledgeable, experienced and ethical.
